Reporting in !

We just finished recording, mixing and mastering Permission to Engage, our next full lenght. Big thanks to all the people who collaborated with us on this piece of music and rawness. After that large amount of work, next step is a release on Vinyl and CD, still discussing about it. Besides that, expect some more surprises about it in the next few weeks.
Anyway, we'll let you know what's going on.
For many reasons we'll have to postpone our summer (July) tour with L'Homme Puma. As we definitely want to make it to Eastern Europe, the new tourdates are scheduled early October 2010 ; so if you will to book us, contact us through sofymajor@gmail.com or Bogdan from Relish Booking (many thanks to him and all the people helping us btw).

Back from tour, entering studio

Thanks to all the people coming to our last eurotour. Also, many hugs to all the promoters who helped us out, you all heavily rock.
We'll be entering studio in a few weeks to record our next full lenght, working with Laurent Saussol and Andrew Schneider ; expect a release in few monthes. Oh, and we just added some more shows, we'll be playing at L'Usine in Geneva on April 6th, and at Grnnnd Zero in Lyon on April 18th with Kylesa and Dark Castle. We plan to tour Eastern Europe mid-july, look at the gig section to see avails.

Hi frrreaks and weeeedeaters.

Finally, as a lot of you asked for it, we're going to put some songs from our previous vinyl records on a CD Compilation : 5 YEARS OF FREAKS. It will also feature Latency, our own tribute to Tantrum, recorded 3 years ago and never released. You'll find the record through RIEN Rds (6 euros), drop us a mail to order it, or expect to find it on our mailorder and all nice stores & webstores in a few weeks : La Distro du Saut.

We began the songwriting of our next album, gonna be heavy & noisy.

Back from tour, thanks again to all the people who welcomed us and supported us on stage. This has been a great moment with y'all. Nothing but extraordinary.
Time for us to rest, then make and record some new material for a full length. There are very few copies of both splits (w/ One Second Riot & Her Breath on Glass), and few copies of our first effort (only in CD, LP sold out). Our last record (screenprinted LP) is still available, but order it fast if you want a copy.

We finally did it. New Sofy Major website is online.

One new song from our forthcoming new record has been uploaded. Enjoy it, and please, stay tuned for further infos about our next record (release early 2009). Two gigs has just been added so as to release those new recorded tracks, see GIG(s) page to know some more. We're also ready to hit the road again in a few monthes, for our next Eurotour.
