Thomas our drummer has just left the band, we're currently looking for another full-time drummer to record some stuff for this next full lenght, and to tour Europe with us. Anyway, all the gigs previously planned won't be cancelled.
So we'll play with Lack on April 19th in Paris, and with Boris in Cermont-Ferrand on 30th May. Look in the gig list for further infos.
What's more, that 30th May gig will be played with a temporary drummer (JC from Crankset) and with a whole new guitar player, in addition to Seb, please welcome David who previously played in Aenima, a Grindcore / Fastcore band from Nancy, France.

Back from tour, we all lost about 10 years of life expectancy : KËWL. Everything was just incredible, and we don't know how to thank all the people who invited us in their town and who made this tour unbelievable : Nevin and Andy for the 7"s, Nico @ Erstein, Slayn @ Dijon, Laurent @ Delemont, Nadine @ KTS, Martijn @ Utrecht, people @ Ubica, Jos @ Mülheim, Niek @ Mol, Rémi @ Lille, Doris @ Le Havre, Grosbill @ Poitiers, all our friends from One Second Riot, Sed Non Satiata & Aenima, plus all the other bands who were playing with us and all the people we met during that second tour. We'd like to say to all those people : keep on promoting punk rock gigs, keep on playing in bands, keep on writing fanzines, keep on squatting / taking over the streets.
We have some gigs left, not far from our hometown, we went back pretty tired, so this is time to rest a little bit. Some of us are being involved in great local projects (squatting, and all the DIY stuff), the others are rehearsalling with their second bands etc... No time to lose.
After our lost shows for 2007 and early 2008, this will be time for us to prepare ourselves for our first Full Lenght. Maybe we'll release a whole new 7" ; and don't forget that Tribute to Tantrum ! We already have several songs, which will be put on our first album, just have to record and complete them. We're still talking with people about labels, studios and all that stuff... It will be certainly recorded second half 2008, for a release fall 2008.

We are coming back on that shitty planet, waiting for the end of being. We've been working hard on all those recordings, on that tour and all that stuff, that is the opportunity to show a real change in our music. New kind of music, same feelings, same unsane atmosphere. We didn't change our way of thinking, we all think that Humain Being is fucking himself up, that in the next few years or centuries it's gonna be the end of everything. The only solution is to care about others, to love people who care about you, to fight for your right of Feeling.

We'll be entering studio in July to record 3 or 4 tracks : two or three of them will be used for the split we spoke about several weeks ago. The last track will be used as a cover for a tribute album with other french and swiss bands. No more infos for now, we'll tell you all a little more, later. Hint : the covered band is a French Noise Hardcore Band Legend, try to guess huhu !
Hi all ! We're finally back from tour, tired and happy. We met a lot of our old friends on the road and managed to meet new people. That tour was incredible, and we're really sad to be forced to come back to our silly lives : work / studies / all that kind of stuff which makes us believe that human being is going to auto-destroy itself.
Oh, BTW, we had to cancel two shows, but some friends managed to save us : we played in Lyon @ Grnnnd Zero with our friends from Unlogistic, ISP and No Guts no Glory instead of playing in Caen, and we had a gig in Clermont-Ferrand instead of Paris, with The Insiders and France (totally incredible band, you should have a look). We're sorry for that, and will try to come in those towns for a next mini-tour.
While talking about shows, I'll talk about recording. We'll be entering studio in the next few weeks at Free Noise Studio for a split-release with [name of a band we won't tell you now].

Three shows planned for the next few weeks :
We're back from the Free Noise Studio in Villeveyrac. A great thanks to all the people we met there and who welcomed us : Goodbye Diana, Tantrum, Spinning Heads, Krystel, Mathias, Alban, Ben... Special thanks to Mouffi' ! The LP/CD is beeing mixed, and we'll master it in a few days. We really expect it to be released before the incoming new year. Some tracks from the EP will be put on this website soon.
Our two shows in Clermont-Ferrand and in lyon have been cancelled, we had some problems with our works and (shitty) things like that... Maybe two or three shows planned in the next few weeks.
We also plan to get on tour during April, more news are coming.

Welcome on the new Sofy Major's website. Sofy Major is a french noisy hardcore band playing in a DIY way. All the pages of this website are not currently open, as a matter of fact, we're entering studio in october and will put some sound in the "ear" section as we get out of the studio. We're recording 4 or 5 tracks for an unnamed (for the moment) EP at Mouffinovitch's studio (great guy playing in Goodbye Diana - see the link area for more infos) and expect it to be out on (not-found-yet) label.
